Women Pushing the Boundaries of Skiing

This video by Atomic Skiing promotes #sheskis, a movement dedicated to encouraging skiers around the world to form a community and support each other by connecting through the sport we all love. The video features a handful of Atomic skiers and others, and also features one of Atomic’s own, Mikaela Shiffrin. Mikaela has been breaking world records since she was just a teenager, when she became the youngest Olympic slalom gold medalist at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.

She also just recently became the first woman to win the slalom at three consecutive FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, and she did so with the largest margin of victory in 47 years — a stunning 1.64 seconds. She also became the first U.S. woman to win two medals at a world championships since Lindsey Vonn in 2009.
