We never pass up an opportunity to substitute work for POW (okay, maybe we do, but not this weekend)! The Clymb will be shredding for a good cause this Friday, March 9th, and will spend an entire 24 hours on the slopes of Mt. Hood’s Ski Bowl. We’re competing for the most vertical feet and we are one of many teams participating to support Hope on the Slopes; a ski and snowboard event to raise money for The American Cancer Society.
The action starts at 1pm on Friday, and someone from The Clymb will be out there tearing it up until 1pm Saturday. They’ll be live music, food, games, and other friendly competitions. The Clymb will have a booth set up, so swing by for some swag… words of encouragement are also welcome to keep our team going through the cold, dark night. If you’d like to show your support another way, you can donate at our team’s donation page here. We’re currently in 8th place and striving to do our part in helping Oregon’s Hope on the Slopes reach their $65,000 goal.
Next week we’ll share photos and a recap of the event. If you’re participating in your local chapter’s HOPE event, head over to our Facebook page and share a few photos of your own. Hope to see you there!
