Occasionally, I’ll notice several outdoor events and activities going on across the country — and the world, really — via Facebook and Twitter. We like to retweet and share the ones we think our members would find most interesting. Here are two of the latest events we’ve come across this past week. Hopefully, you’ll find something near you or be inspired to organize something similar in your area.
The City of Greenville, South Carolina is celebrating National Bike Month throughout May. There are tons of free bike-friendly events that promote not just the beauty of Greenville, but a healthier and more environmentally friendly lifestyle. Enter great contests and obtain information to make you a smarter, safer cyclist. Click here for more info.
Chicks With Picks has come up with a fun way to spread the word about their rock climbing clinics. Register to receive their Chicks Rocks! posters and post them around your town. Three lucky winners will receive gifts from awesome brands like two we’ve featured here on The Clymb: Princeton Tec and Julbo. Click here for details.
Do you have an outdoor event you’d like to share or promote? Post the info below or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org and perhaps we’ll share it in our next Upcoming Outdoor Events blog.
