Copper Mountain | Colorado
Copper features live music with Von Stomper, fireworks Saturday night and drink specials just about everywhere. There is a Full Moon Snowshoe Tour available and if you wear green to The Double Diamond on Saturday you’ll get 20% off your tab
Mt. Snow | Vermont
Featuring live music on Main Street, at the base area and at The Snow Barn, Mt Snow celebrates with The Bud Lite Sham Rock Weekend. Live music with God Shites on Friday, Enter the Haggis on Saturday and Joshua Tree on Monday will keep you dancing. There is, of course a search for that ubiquitous Pot-o-Gold for a season pass, and skiing in costumes on the mountain.
Breckenridge | Colorado
Breck is hosting the Royal Flush Big Mountain Comp where contestants take on the steeps of Breck. One of the few Mountain towns with two Irish pubs Napper Tandy’s and Burke and Riley’s the Jamison’s should be flowing as much as the green beer.
Saddleback Mountain | Maine
At Saddleback Mountain in Maine there is a green coin search contest and Geo-caching for shamrocks. Search the mountain for the hidden Pot-o-Gold and win a 2015 season pass to the mountain.
Vail | Colorado
If you feel like running instead of drinking head to Vail for their 10k, 5k and 1k kids run. There is also a snowshoe and Yaxtrax category. There will be a post-race party with free Bloody Marys and Irish coffee for everyone, of age that is.
Homewood | Lake Tahoe
Chase a leprechaun around the mountain for prizes and find that Pot-o-Gold and get a season pass for next year. Of course there are drink specials at the mountain bars and Jamison’s is, of course the featured drink.
Durango | Colorado
The Saint Patrick’s Day Train is running on a 52 mile roundtrip run to Cascade Canyon. The ride features live Celtic music from Durango’s own Kitchen Jam. There will be corned beef sandwiches, Irish beer, Irish liquor and mixed drinks served during the trip.
Grand Targee Resort | Wyoming
Grand Targee will have two leprechauns roaming the mountain with Pot-o-Gold season passes available to whoever catches the elusive characters. They also feature live music, drink and food specials featuring Guinness Stew, Shepherd’s pie and Fish and chips baskets followed by an Irish Sing-a-long.
