Oakley MTB: Oakley invents each new product with a design philosophy called sculptural physics: the discipline of solving problems with science and wrapping those solutions in art. Supported by an infrastructure that includes the latest tools of technology, Oakley engineers and artisans continue to expand the company’s array of product categories. What that means is that Oakley is the authority on a lot more than the sunglasses that made it famous. Take for example this collection of the iconic brand’s innovative mountain biking gear and apparel. Featuring gloves, shorts, and more. Click through now!
PROBAR: While cutting slices of Kielbasa and cheese with a dubiously clean multitool then tossing them on some soggy crackers will forever be the ultimate sustenance-based rite of passage in backpacking, the final product is far from the healthiest option. If ever there was a polar opposite to the mountain manwich, it’s the PROBAR organic food bar. Hunger-destroying bars made from all-natural, 100% vegan organic ingredients, PROBAR products fill the trail-weary up on pure nutritional goodness, leaving them with a skip in their steps instead of a brick in their bellies. Bring the raw food movement to the trail with cases of PROBAR, available now on The Clymb for member-exclusive pricing.

IN OTHER NEWS:
Adios Nova Albion: Did you know? On July 26 (that’s today!), 1579, English sea captain, pirate (at least that’s what the Spanish called him; the English celebrated him as a successful privateer), slaver, and otherwise famous-despite-his-swinish-ways Renaissance-era explorer Francis Drake set sail from modern-day California to cross the Pacific Ocean. The trip was part of the final leg of Drake’s celebrated circumnavigation of the world, making him the second expedition leader and first Englishman to accomplish the feat. When Drake first landed on the Pacific Coast somewhere north of modern-day San Francisco, he claimed the land for England and gave it the name Nova Albion.
