Every year one of our favorite local non-prof­its, the Bicy­cle Trans­porta­tion Alliance (BTA), orga­nizes the BTA Bike Com­mute Chal­lenge in order to spread the gospel regard­ing how fun, healthy, easy, and cheap bike com­mut­ing is com­pared to dri­ving.  This year, over 2,800 teams from 1,157 dif­fer­ent orga­ni­za­tions par­tic­i­pat­ed in log­ging over 1.3 mil­lion miles and avoid­ed emis­sions of 672.5 tons CO2 to the atmos­phere.  The Clymb par­tic­i­pat­ed in the chal­lenge for the first time this year.  Some highlights:
