Credit: Leave No Trace

Happy Friday, Clymbers. Earth Day is on Sunday and we’re celebrating all weekend with our friends at Leave No Trace. Like The Clymb, Leave No Trace is member-driven but instead of gearing people up for adventures,  it educates them how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly. Not to brag, but we’ll be celebrating with the organization behind the most widely accepted outdoor ethics program used on public lands—anywhere. And you’re invited. For every order you make through Sunday at midnight, we’re going to donate $1 to Leave No Trace. Don’t be late. The party begins now.

Here’s what we’ve got on the docket for you today:

Cannondale —  The Cannondale story began in a loft above a pickle factory in 1971, when the company introduced the cycling industry’s first bicycle trailer. The company has come a long way since, becoming to cyclers a brand as familiar and beloved as Dill.

Pacific Outdoor Equipment: Pacific Outdoor Equipment (POE) is headquartered in Montana’s Rocky Mountains, where the men are tough, the women tougher, and the Great Outdoors calls its own shots. POE respects the environment by designing gear tough enough to stand up to it.

There’s Still Time! Don’t Miss: POC, Men’s & Women’s Craft, VonZipper, Goorin Bros, Core Concepts, Thule, Woolrich, Homeschool, Men’s Footwear, Women’s & Kids’ Footwear, Cycling Goods, & Men’s & Women’s Tees.

IN OTHER NEWS:

Pickle Me This: Did you know? Cannondale got its start in a crowded loft above a pickle factory in 1971. The company has come a long way since then but then again so have pickles. Take, for example, the popular southern “koolickle,” which is created by soaking dill pickles in a mixture of Kool-Aid and pickle brine. And if you think that’s cool, today marks the start to our weekend-long Earth Day celebration, where we’ll be donating $1 from every order through Sunday to one of our favorite outdoor non-profit groups, Leave No Trace. Bust out the koolickles and let the celebration begin!
