A little more about today’s events:
VonZipper: Vonzipper wasfounded in a southern California garage in 1999 by friends that grew up surfing, skateboarding, & snowboarding together. Its products are designed to celebrate the individuality and the gospel of the good life and to serve as a positive manifesto to the alternative mindset. Scream the gospel of your individuality to the heavens without having to squint, with VonZipper sunglasses, available today at The Clymb for member-exclusive pricing.
Goorin Bros: The Goorin family has been outfitting heads since 1895, when Cassel Goorin sold his first hat off a horse cart in Pennsylvania. The company was then taken over by his sons, who moved it out West. Today, Goorin Bros is led by Cassel’s great grandson, who crafts hats inspired by San Francisco’s rich artistic community. Wear some history on your head, with Goorin Bros timeless hats, available today at The Clymb for member-exclusive pricing.
Core Concepts: Equally inspired by the skyline of the Tetons as the skyline of Manhattan, Core Concepts makes top-notch technical outdoor clothes that function no matter what you’re up to – double black, single track or a quick run at lunch. Go from the mountains to Main Street, with Core Concepts stylish technical apparel, available today at The Clymb for member-exclusive pricing.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Shades of Judgement: Did you know? Judgment isn’t always blind but it can get close with a sweet pair of sunglasses. During the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644) Chinese judges rocked (heh, heh) sunglasses-like eyewear with lenses made of smoked quartz. No, court wasn’t being held at the beach. The purpose of the devises was so that the judges, in an attempt to remain as inscrutable as possible until the end of the trial, could hide their eyes while evaluating evidence. Use history as an excuse to pick up a pair of VonZipper sunglasses from today’s event and lay down some of your own law.
Two brands for you today: members can shop from a selection of Swiss Army knives and multi-functional tools and performance apparel and outerwear that are high functioning, comfortable and stylish from Core Concepts. Members have expressed their pleasure with our Swiss Army selection in the past and Core Concepts has been suggested by fans of our Facebook page for months. We’re pleased to be able to bring both to you at up to 60% off.
Very soon you’ll see changes around The Clymb — changes that we hope will not only enhance your shopping experience, but allow us to expand our already large community of outdoor enthusiasts. In the meantime, I want to point out a few features you can already find that should make your Clymb experience as smooth as possible.
Under every product’s description is the estimated delivery date. After an event ends (they run for 3‑days), we receive the product at our warehouse where it is then hand picked, sorted, and packaged for shipment. At that time, you will receive an email with a tracking number so you can follow your order’s progress to your door. From the time you place the order until the time it ships, it will show as “processing” on our site. This whole process takes about two weeks. This may be a bit longer than you’re used to, but it’s a byproduct of being able to offer the gear and apparel you love at such great savings.
If you are not a member, you won’t have access to the sale events, but obtaining a membership invitation is both free and easy. Just stop by Twitter or Facebook and let us know you’re in need. And that goes for anything, by the way. Someone is always available to answer your questions via Twitter, Facebook and our member support email address.
