What happens when a group of medieval-minded damsels who also happen to be some of the world’s best skiers get a chance to shred apart the greatest ski-park-chateau ever built? Double backflips, castle bonks, and double corked 12s, that’s what!
Nine Queens is an all-female, invite-only ski competition held at the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis skiing resort in Tyrol, Austria.
This year’s event featured some firsts for women’s skiing including a rodeo 900 from ZuZicka Stromkova (2nd place), a double front flip and rodeo 7 from Camillia Berra (3rd place), and, with the first ever double cork 1260 in women’s competition, 17 year old Lisa Zimmermann brought home 1st place.
Check out these dazzling damsels as they do battle with the Camelot of super parks, and perform skiing so mind-blowing you’ll swear you’re in a medieval fantasy land.
