The traveling French troupe that brought us the incredible I Believe I Can Fly (Flight of the Frenchies) video are back at it, pushing the limits once again. This time they are attempting to slackline between two hot air balloons. Equipped with nothing more than a BASE jumpers parachute rig on their backs, the Skyliners step untethered onto the highline with nothing but thousands of feet of air beneath them and the French countryside below. A fall means a quick lunge for the line, and if they don’t grab hold then they fall out of sight and into the clouds. With their customary sense of humor and zany antics, it’s easy to think of these guys as a bunch of jokers, but don’t be fooled. They are a team of highly experienced mountaineers, BASE jumpers, and slackliners that are unified by the passion to infuse extreme sports with their unmistakable creativity.
