We all know black bears can climb trees, but this video is a wake up call: Bears can climb anything. Watch these endangered Mexican Black Bears climb Santa Elena Canyon Wall in Big Bend National Park, Texas. The cub tries to follow mamma’s route but climbs a little too far to the right. Then the cub hangs onto the wall with a nice stem move around the 30-second mark, before some crossover footwork to follow mamma to safety. Both climbs, it should be noted, were free solos.
