The Tanner Hall Invitational at Sierra at Tahoe brought together some of the most creative park skiers in the world. Old-school legends competed with fresh talent on one crazy new jump. The symmetrical feature consisted of two quarter pipes with the option of transferring between them, as well as a double-sided hip jump which could also be hit as a true over-the-top jump.
Athletes voted on the winners.
Phil “B‑Dog” Casabon won for best style and creativity. He threw one of the most flexed out tail-butters of all time on the quarter pipe (1:13) as well as a nollie 360 from one quarter pipe to the other.
Henrik Harlaut, a.k.a. E’dollo was the overall winner. He threw some ridiculous nosebutters on the quarter pipe (1:10) and sent doubles both on the hip, and over it (1:24).
Overall, the competition was a great success, encouraging skiers to push both the technicality and creativity of their tricks. Check out the video above for all the action.
