Darwin Spies Galapagos: Did you know?

On September 15th (that’s today!), 1835, the famous English naturalist Charles Darwin first spied the Galapagos Archipelago. His ship, the HMS Beagle, was on a five-year voyage to study the flora, fauna, and geology of the islands and coastlines of South America. Darwin’s notes and observations of the variety of unique finch species on the Galapagos Islands led him to discover his theory of evolution that he outlined in his seminal work, The Origin of Species.

It seems we have to put as much thought into buying a water bottle as buying a new house – there are so many things to consider: BPA-free is a must. Stainless steel looks great, but have you ever tried storing a hot beverage in one? Ouch!  Our bottles need to withstand a drop along the trail and all the demands that come with living a life outdoors. The easier they are to clean, the better, but the most important factor is feeling confident that the water will remain fresh.

Enter Bamboo Bottle Company. Convinced there was a way to make a water bottle which was insulated, BPA-free, dishwasher safe, made from all-natural materials, and durable, they turned to bamboo. Bamboo’s stability, hardness, and strength, makes for tough bottles and the unique glass interior guarantees safe and clean water at all temperatures. Bamboo Bottle Company’s Clymb debut features their eco-friendly, stylish, and durable bottles at exclusive pricing.
