We’ve received many great tweets and posts on Facebook telling us how you GoLite; the steps you take to respect your environment and lessen your carbon footprint.

Here are a few:

@redzipstar: I put homemade pasta salads and breakfast couscous in reusable containers before camping trips to GoLite. This means less trash!

@Mickey_Oh: I replace gear only as often as needed to GoLite!

@bconarck: I do unspeakable things to my toothbrush to GoLyte

But the winning entry comes from Dustin Silvester on Facebook:

I get my kids involved to GoLite on every vacation. Not only do we do our best to recycle and generally care for the areas we visit, but we have also tried to perform a service project wherever we go. From things like picking up litter from the beach in Cannon Beach, Oregon to donating goods and visiting a special needs school in Cabot San Lucas, Mexico. We are trying to teach our kids that a big part of being a world citizen is giving back and trying to make the world a better place. Not just at home where it’s easy, but everywhere you go!

Congratulations, Dustin! We will be in touch shortly to give you the details on your $100 Clymb credit. Enjoy!

In a time when it seems most people are preoccupied with having more; bigger, better, and faster, GoLite is an oasis. With high performance gear that is simple, beautiful and light on the environment, GoLite gear is so lightweight, you forget it’s there; allowing you to just soak up your outdoor experience.

Their philosophy isn’t just in the products, but in how they are made. Their production process minimizes their environmental footprint while developing gear that performs. GoLite understands that it’s not the things that make us happy, it’s the nature around us; it’s the early morning run or after work hike.

We’re giving our members up to 55% off GoLite outerwear, apparel and gear for men and women in an exclusive event that begins today at 9am PST. We also want to know how you GoLite. What do you do to decrease your imprint while enjoying your outdoor experience? Tweet us your answer, “I (blank) to GoLite” or post it on Facebook and we’ll randomly award one a $100 credit to The Clymb.

If you need a membership to The Clymb, you can also use Twitter or Facebook to let us know and we’ll hook you up.

Here’s what Fitegg.com has to say about the GoLite Wildwood Trail Shortsleeve Run Top:

“It breathes very well, wicks moisture very effectively, and is seriously comfortable.”

And the GoLite Mesa Trail 7″ Run Short:

“We like the light weight and moisture wicking property of these shorts.  Even though our sample is black, the light weight and moisture wicking ability of these shorts kept us cool on our runs, even when we were running with no shade.”
