Friday Jams: The Vaccines

Sharing ‘Friday Jams’ has been a part of The Clymb’s office culture for about a year now. The practice was borne out of necessity. As all our members know, it can be difficult to stay on task when you can’t wait to go outside and use all the awesome stuff you just bought on The Clymb. So, to remedy this situation we started dishing out jams — it’s sort of like soup club, except instead of lentils and leeks, we serve up piping hot beats.

At the outset it was mostly old school rap: Warren G, Ice Cube, Dru Down, etc. Now Friday Jams come from all over the sonic map and we thought it would be fun to post songs that are trending at the office, like this three-minute gem from the Vaccines. It’s solid punk/pop tune that will help kickstart your weekend. If you’ve never heard of them before, the Vaccines are a London-based indie rock quartet that has been compared to the Strokes and coincidentally, they recorded “Tiger Blood” with Albert Hammond Jr. in December of 2011.
