Mountainfilm Style Day 4 – Street Scene

Adrenaline, imagination, and ideas are buzzing at Mountainfilm in Telluride. This year’s filmmakers have not only taken art and technology to a whole new level, they have stretched their imagination and their limits to bring us some of the most powerful stories affecting our world today. Mountainfilmers wake by 8AM for free coffee and panel discussions with experts on topics from the scarcity of our natural resources to the recent Greg Mortenson scandal. Fueled on caffeine and inspiration, they pack their day with films and presentations only to rally for a night of serious partying and celebrating of this unique community of people that Mountainfilm invites.

In fact, for many Mountainfilmers the conversations and stories between the films are equally as empowering, mind opening and engaging as the films themselves. With environmental heroes, world-class athletes and passionate artists wandering the streets sometimes it’s best to skip a screening and enjoy a beer and some conversation in the sun–or even better, catch Dean Potter outside late at night and find the courage to have a chat. As long as there is adventure, passion, friends and powerful ideas, anything goes at Mountainfilm. Enjoy the photos below for an idea of the vibe here in Telluride.
