On Jan­u­ary 19, 2012, pro­fes­sion­al freestyle ski­er Sarah Burke passed away from injuries sus­tained in a train­ing acci­dent nine days pri­or. An extreme­ly gen­er­ous out­pour­ing of love and sup­port has been shown towards the Burke fam­i­ly and Sarah’s hus­band, Rory Bushfield.

While the fam­i­ly has already reached their goal in rais­ing enough mon­ey to cov­er Sarah’s med­ical expens­es, you can still donate. Future dona­tions will go towards memo­r­i­al ser­vices and form­ing a foun­da­tion in Sarah’s name to hon­or her legacy.
