A Father, A Son, and the Colorado River

As we all do growing up, we are raised, nurtured, and taught by our parents until we eventually grow into our own adult selves. Forest Woodward was well on his own path in his late 20s when he stumbled across a poem written to him by his father the year he was born.  This sparked them to come together and relive a raft trip through the Grand Canyon that his dad had been on 43 years earlier. The Important Places follows Forest and his father as they share a journey through one the most important places in his father’s upbringing, while gaining a deeper understanding of each other.
