Thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail is a commitment. It’s tough to justify taking five months off from work, from family, and from friends to do nothing else but walk. Sometimes we need a fire beneath us to drum up the courage to take that first step, when all the fears and uncertainties are just as real as anything you’ve experienced on the adventure yet.
This video can be that fire.
It gives you a glimpse into the world of the PCT. Starting at the Mexican border you see the floating camera move through the chaparral of southern California, into the granite Sierras, past the volcanic Cascades, and into the Northern Cascades of Washington all under seven minutes.
It’s a journey well worth taking to get you primed for the real thing.
