Watch This Epic P.O.V. Cycling Footage: Sprint Finish At The Tour of California

It’s almost like you’re there. Your team leader screams “GOGOGOGO!” Simultaneously, you put the hammer down as the applause of a rabid crowd beats in your ears. You’re flying through the streets of Sacramento, California, racing your way toward the finish line of stage 1 at the AMGEN Tour of California.

This video footage marks the first time in history that the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) has allowed P.O.V. cycling race coverage. By placing their new small sports cam beneath the saddles and handlebars of six to eight of their pros for the length of the eight-day tour, Shimano has created what very well may be the future of race videography.
